EXPLANATION:
The JAWS cursor has a
little lower pitch than the PC cursor. This is to help you know which cursor
you have active. The PC cursor is active by default. It is automatically on
when you turn on the computer. In order to use the JAWS cursor you must press
num pad minus. To go back to the PC cursor you will need to press num pad plus.
You can make the JAWS and PC cursors be in the same place. This is done by
routing. To route the JAWS cursor to where the PC cursor is you would press
insert num pad minus. To route the PC cursor to where the JAWS cursor is you
would press insert num pad plus. The JAWS cursor reads the current line it is
pointing to. When you are using the JAWS cursor you can activate the left mouse
button with num pad slash and activate the right mouse button with num pad
star.
There is also an
INVISIBLE CURSOR which is just another cursor available to you; it is turned on
by pressing num pad minus twice quickly; press a key for another cursor to
deactivate it.
