You would press shift f6 to bring focus to the tree view which lists the folders on your computer. It’s called a tree view because it is a list that is like an upside down tree that has branches that stick out to the right. You navigate the tree view with up, down, left or right arrows. The top of the tree is level zero. Each level is a folder that can be either open or closed. Right arrow opens a folder and left arrow closes a folder. When you open a folder, sub folders are revealed and the screen reader will tell you how many items there are and you can arrow down to those sub folders. Those sub folders are one level higher. For example, if you open the level zero folder, the sub folders are level one. If you open a level one folder, the sub folders are level two and so on.
